The location was perfect as it was reasonably close to all the main areas in downtown Edinburgh. We were able to easily walk to all the attractions we wanted to visit, including the castle. The staff at the hotel were friendly. The cleanliness of the hotel was superb, and the facilities provided were great. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast served every morning and the lovely dinner we had at the restaurant.

The hotel is ideally located within walking distance to popular sights and restaurants. The bar area upstairs is a cozy spot to unwind, sampling from an extensive whisky selection. The restaurant has delicious food and excellent service, even during peak hours. The room was spacious with a modern bathroom and wonderful amenities. The staff was welcoming and helpful; their excellent room service made our stay even more enjoyable.
The noise from the nearby busy street was a minor inconvenience during the night.

Comfortable bed, dark and quiet room with nice fan feature. Convenient location for attractions and transport. Delicious food and drink selection with attentive service. Luxurious bathroom with big shower and tub. Lovely aesthetic, great for relaxation.

I was impressed with the comfortable room with lush bath, toiletries, slippers, and bathrobes. The location in Edinburgh's Old Town was perfect for exploring the city. Despite a minor issue with noise from the street, I had a great stay at Hotel Du Vin.

This place is situated near many locations of interest, making it perfect for sightseeing. Additionally, the service is excellent, including the free welcome drink and room amenities such as ironing facilities, heating, and air conditioning. The gardens have comfortable furniture, too.
Although I would recommend this venue to families, the staff was not efficient and experienced some confusion with orders. Despite this, the manager was very understanding and did their best to make amends.

The staff at Hotel Du Vin were friendly and prompt with service. The room was comfortable and had plenty of amenities. We enjoyed the view of the courtyard. The whiskey nook was a great spot to relax by the fire and enjoy a glass of wine. The breakfast was excellent. We really appreciated the vegetarian and vegan options available.
Felt completely relaxed, no complaints whatsoever.
